Coach "Hammer" Andrea Roelen
Falcon VBC Coaching Director
U12 Developmental Program Head Coach

Coach Andrea “Hammer” Roelen attended the University of Puget Sound where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and played collegiate volleyball, earning multiple First-Team All-American honors and was a National Championship MVP. Coach Roelen received a Master’s Degree in Genetics and Cell Biology from Washington State University and was an assistant coach for the NCAA Division 1 program for two years and the Head Coach for the men’s club volleyball program. She has coached for over 20 years including at the high school, club and college levels and still actively plays competitive volleyball.

Coach Maren Duimstra

Maren joined Falcon Volleyball Club in 2017. Originally from South Dakota, she transplanted to the Seattle area in 2014. Ever since she was a kid, she has loved the game of volleyball and has always played libero, both during her high school career and following. She is a physical therapist at MTI Physical Therapy and has a passion for health, fitness, exercise and volleyball.

Coach Jen Berard
U15 Head Coach

​This is Coach Jen's first season coaching with Falcon VBC but she comes to the club with a plethora of playing and coaching experience.  Coach Jen grew up in the Greenlake area and played volleyball at Bishop Blanchet High School (class of ‘92) and Everett CC.  She has coached at Everett HS, Shorewood HS and is currently the Head Coach at Bishop Blanchet HS.  Coach Jen has worked hard to develop competitive programs and accomplished a lot during her years of coaching.  At Shorewood HS, her team was Wesco Champions in 2012 and they had their first appearance at the State tourney since the 1970’s. Her team was Wesco Champions again in both 2014 and 2015 and they brought home the 4th place State trophy in 2015.  Coach Jen was named Seattle Times Coach of the Year in 2015.  In her free time, Coach Jen is at the baseball field cheering on her son; Andrew, a Senior at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas or hanging out with her daughter, Ashley a Freshman in college.

Coach Abby Potter
U15 Assistant Coach

New to the Falcon Volleyball Club Family, Coach Abby is a Senior in college from Oklahoma and just moved to the Woodinville area in August from Arkansas. Coach Abby played school volleyball from 7th grade until her senior year, including being a four-year varsity letter winner, and she participated in a very competitive and intense club program from 7th grade to her senior year as well. She attended the University of Arkansas, where she played one year of competitive intramural indoor and one year of sand volleyball as an outside hitter.  Abby has a great passion for the game and coached a U16 school for two years in Arkansas before moving to Woodinville. Abby couldn't be more excited to be back on the court and coaching a team with Falcon VBC

Coach Savannah Horton
U14 Head Coach
Coach Savannah is excited to be joining the Falcon VBC family this season as the U14 Head Coach.   She is currently a student at Everett Community College, working towards her Associates Degree in Education to become a high school English teacher.   Coach Savannah is on the ECC volleyball team where she usually plays libero/DS but this season, she is playing middle blocker.  This is Coach Savannah's second year coaching club volleyball and her first year with Falcon VBC.  She is thrilled to be with Falcon VBC and brings her hard work, dedication, great organizational skills, and tremendous energy to helping her U14 team be successful.

Coach Bailey Gardner
U14 Assistant Coach
Coach Bailey is a new coach for Falcon VBC this season and is thrilled to be the assistant coach for the U14 team.  She attended Meridian HS in Bellingham, was in the Running Start Program at Whatcom CC and graduated high school with her Associates Degree. Coach Bailey is a student at Everett Community College, working towards her certification in Radiology Technology and currently plays on the ECC volleyball team with Coach Savannah as a setter.  This is Coach Bailey's first year coaching club volleyball and she is excited to be part of the Falcon Family.

Coach Jemena Williams
U13 Head Coach


Coach Jemena Williams attended the University of Idaho where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and played collegiate volleyball.  After her senior season, she coached the men's club volleyball program at UI for three seasons, JV and varsity at Moscow High from 1998-2001 and U-12/13 club for Idaho Jr's.  She began teaching at Cedar Park Christian School (Bothell) in 2001, coached high school volleyball there from 2002-2016 and she continues to volunteer part-time for the team. Jemena has 24 years of coaching summer camps at nearly every level under her belt, as well as many seasons of coaching basketball, baseball and track.  She has played competitive volleyball for over 21 years, including being Coach Andrea's teammate for many seasons which is how she came to join Falcon Volleyball Club last season.  She is a proud wife, mom and cancer survivor and is looking forward to another fun year with Falcon VBC!

Coach Emily McKenzie
U13 Assistant Coach

Coach Emily has been with the Falcon VBC for two years now as an assistant coach.  She has always had a huge passion for the game of volleyball! Coach Emily played on her high school varsity volleyball team for four years and also played club volleyball throughout high school.  Coach Emily started coaching volleyball right after she graduated from high school for the Boys and Girls Club and coached for 3 seasons. In 2018, she began coaching for Falcon VBC with Coach Jemena. She loves teaching the sport which she is so passionate about and watching players learn and develop their own passion for volleyball as well.
